Royal Hotel Ryde ground floor and rooms

The Ryde Royal Hotel has been extensively renovated by Peter Jay Design Associates an experienced pub and hotel designer. Built-in 1927 and originally called Keogh’s Royal Hotel,  the brief included structural remediation and awning restoration, facade remodelling, gaming and TAB relocations both with new open air access.  The gaming room now consistently ranks in the top 150. Other works include a full renovation of the bistro and bar areas including creation of an authentic Irish Pub. The fit out was manufactured and imported from Ireland including bric-a-brac, lights, aged paint finishes and other embellishments that are synonymous with authentic Irish pubs. A state-of-the-art widescreen all-weather TV and custom made imported Irish outdoor furniture complement the weatherproof sails covering the outdoor alfresco areas.

The 1st-floor hotel accommodation was re-opened to the public after a comprehensive hotel design and renovation which included facility upgrades to air conditioning and fire services,  in-room entertainment with new FF&E. Modifications to redundant spaces were carefully considered in the initial design process, successfully adding additional rooms to the original layout contributing new revenues and improving overall hotel performance.
